Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently coming. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. It does factor into how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
